Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 18, 2026

USPolling.com ("USPolling," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our polling services, and any application we operate on third-party platforms — including our Facebook applications.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Information you provide. Survey responses, contact details you submit, and messages you send us.
  • Automatically collected data. Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, referrer, and interaction events collected via standard web technologies.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Used for essential site function, preferences, and aggregate analytics.

2. How We Use Information

  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and polling products.
  • To produce aggregate, de-identified public opinion research.
  • To respond to inquiries and communicate service updates.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Legal Bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis (e.g., GDPR), we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving our services, and compliance with legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

5. Facebook Applications

This section describes our practices for applications we operate on the Meta / Facebook platform (collectively, "Facebook Applications"). It applies in addition to the rest of this Policy.

5.1 Information We Receive from Facebook

When you use one of our Facebook Applications or sign in with Facebook, we may receive information from Meta based on the permissions you grant, which may include:

  • Your public profile (name, profile picture, Facebook user ID).
  • Your email address, if you grant the email permission.
  • Other data you explicitly authorize us to receive at the time of the permission prompt.

We only request the minimum permissions needed to provide the requested functionality. We do not receive your Facebook password.

5.2 How We Use Facebook Data

  • To authenticate you and create or link your USPolling account.
  • To personalize your experience within the Facebook Application.
  • To provide customer support and prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not use Facebook data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not transfer it to data brokers.

5.3 Storage and Retention

Facebook profile data is stored securely and retained only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 5.5).

5.4 Revoking Permissions

You can revoke our access to your Facebook data at any time by visiting your Facebook Apps and Websites settings and removing the USPolling application.

5.5 Data Deletion Requests (Facebook)

In accordance with Facebook Platform Terms, you may request deletion of data we obtained from Facebook. To submit a request:

  • Email privacy@uspolling.com with the subject line "Facebook Data Deletion" and the Facebook user ID or email associated with the account.
  • Or remove the app from your Facebook Apps and Websites settings, which triggers an automated deletion request.

We will delete data received from Facebook within 30 days of a verified request, unless retention is required by law.

5.6 Compliance

Our Facebook Applications comply with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

6. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at privacy@uspolling.com to exercise these rights.

8. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. International Transfers

We are based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S.

10. Changes to This Policy
